Shine On Auto Wash is on the hunt for a reliable, hands-on, and friendly part-time team member. If you’re someone who likes to stay busy, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are always ready to pitch in where needed, then we’d love to meet you. We’re looking for someone who can work 15–20 hours a week, with the potential for more as we continue to grow.
About Shine On Auto Wash:
Shine On Auto Wash is a family-owned, family run car wash business. We took over in June 2024. We’re committed to delivering exceptional customer service and keeping things running smoothly for our team and our customers. We’ve got one automatic wash and eight self-serve wash bays—plenty of options for everyone to get their cars looking their best. As we’re in the process of rebranding, there’s fresh energy and new ideas in the air, and we’re excited to keep building our business and community.
Who We’re Looking For:
You are:
A clear communicator - you’re fluent in English and can confidently and clearly express yourself with customers and team members. You know how to explain things simply and make sure everyone is on the same page, whether it’s answering questions or giving instructions.
Dependable - you’re someone who shows up, gets the job done, and takes pride in the results.
Proactive - when something needs doing, you’re the first to pitch in and make it happen.
Customer-focused - you’re the kind of person who enjoys making someone’s day better with a friendly attitude and a smile.
Energetic and ready for action - whether it’s cleaning, fixing, or helping customers, you’re always on your feet and moving.
Adaptable - you’re comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, no matter the weather.
A problem solver - if something’s not quite right, you’ll notice it and take care of it.
Comfortable with tools - you don’t need to be a mechanic, but you can handle basic repairs like tightening screws or fixing small equipment issues.
Experienced in customer service or social media? Bonus points! But if you’ve got the right attitude, we can teach you the rest.
Cool under pressure - whether it’s a busy rush or an unexpected challenge, you stay calm, focused, and keep things running smoothly. You know how to handle the pressure without breaking a sweat.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanour.
Keeping the wash bays, vacuums, outdoor areas, office, and restroom sparkling clean.
Assisting customers during busy times—helping with garage doors, managing lineups, taking payments and offering wait-time updates with a smile.
Performing basic maintenance tasks (e.g., tightening, fixing minor issues) and reporting larger issues to the manager.
Operating the point-of-sale system and assisting with merchandise sales.
